Family Justice Service

Offering support, comfort and understanding to domestic violence victims and their families, including easy access to essential services.

The Family Justice Service (FJS) is the dedicated domestic abuse service in Croydon, offering independent, confidential, and non-judgemental support to individuals of all genders. Our services include:

  • emotional and personal support
  • advocacy and assistance in accessing additional services, including housing and children and adult services
  • risk assessment and safety planning
  • guidance on benefits eligibility
  • referrals to mental health services
  • assistance with applying for non-molestation or occupation orders
  • help in obtaining legal advice and support

Our specialised team of Independent Domestic Abuse Advocates (IDVA) conduct thorough assessments of each case to provide appropriate guidance. If ongoing support isn't available, they offer safety advice and direct you to a suitable service.

If your case is being managed by the FJS, you will be assigned a dedicated case worker who will advocate on your behalf and help you understand the nature of abuse.
